An ultrasonic converter, or transducer, is vital in ultrasonic welding systems. It converts electrical energy into high-frequency mechanical vibrations to join materials, usually plastics or metals. Key components include piezoelectric crystals, metal housing, electrodes, back driver, and front driver (horn). The electrical signal from a generator makes the crystals vibrate, transmitting energy through the horn to the workpiece. Ultrasonic welding is fast, clean, and produces strong bonds, used in automotive, medical, electronics, textiles, and packaging industries.
