The principle of ultrasonic sonicator(homogenizer) is to destroy tissue and cells through cavitation and ultrasonic waves.
The sonotrode of the ultrasonic homogenizer vibrates very fast, causing the solution around the sonotrode to foam and collapse rapidly. This creates shear and shock waves that tear tissue and cells apart.
Ultrasonic sonicator(homogenizer) are well suited for separating cells and subcellular structures in suspension. Other applications include making emulsions, dispersing nanoparticles, and reducing the size of suspended particles.

Food processing Reaction Acceleration - cavitation accelerates chemical and physical reactions.Fine Particle Dispersion - e.g. nanoparticle processing.Disruption and Cell Lysing - will break open biological tissues and Cells to extract enzymes and DNA, prepare vaccines.Homogenization - making uniform mixtures of liquids or liquid suspensions.Emulsification - processing foods, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics.Dissolution - dissolving solids in solvents.Degassing - removing gases from solutions without heat or vacuum.Inline pipe cleaning, removes scale or build/up without disassembly.Cylindrical 360° internally radiating chamber.
Ultrasonic Homogenizer Advantages:
1.High Efficiency: Ultrasonic waves can efficiently break down particle agglomerates, resulting in a more uniform dispersion.
2.Energy Saving: The process often requires less energy compared to traditional mechanical dispersion methods.
3.Fine Particle Size: Achieves a finer and more consistent particle size distribution.
4.Short Processing Time: Rapid dispersion reduces processing time significantly.
5.Scalability: The technique is scalable from laboratory to industrial applications.
6.Non-thermal Process: The process does not rely on heat, making it suitable for heat-sensitive materials.
