20kHz 2000W Ultrasonic Welding Machine for Sterile protective clothing
Ultrasonic sealing generates the heat required for melting directly inside the thermoplastic sealing layer. For this localized conversion of vibrations into frictional heat, the profiles of the anvil or sonotrode are typically linear. These profiles ensure the concentration of energy input, leading to short sealing times of about 100 to 200 milliseconds. Unlike heat sealing, where external heat is applied, ultrasonic sealing generates heat internally within the film. The tools in contact with the packaging material (sonotrode and anvil) remain cold throughout the welding process.
Due to this method, the support layer of the material stays relatively cool. After energy input ceases, heat dissipates more quickly to the outside because of the temperature difference between the support layer and the sealing layer, resulting in significantly higher hot-tack resistance.
In ultrasonic lace sewing machines, ultrasonic vibrations combined with steel molds complete the processing through applied pressure.
